With over 11 years of experience specifically focused on assurance and advisory services supporting Federal clients in governance, risk, and control oversight, internal controls, IT project oversight, audit readiness, and audit oversight, Scoey has proven herself to be an effective solutions-oriented leader. Scoey is an executive leader with a unique combination of operational and advisory experience in financial management, risk management, internal controls, business process management, financial statement and information technology audit, software development lifecycle, and entity governance strategy development and execution. Scoey’s extensive experience supporting federal agencies comply with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123, Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM), Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), Federal Financial Management Improvement Act of 1996 (FFMIA), Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements no. 18 (SSAE 18), and various National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications.
