In her CEO role at Peacock Law, Deborah has managed a highly successful business for 26 years. She provides legal and business/technology advice to an international clientele (representing over 1000 clients including publicly traded companies). Her particular expertise includes commercialization of innovative technologies, intellectual property, complex transactions, M&A, technology trends, regulatory and permitting, export/import laws, and environmental technologies and regulations. Her technology fields are mining/minerals, energy/utilities, alternative energy, battery materials, oil & gas, water treatment, outer space and aerospace, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotics, software including SaaS, engineering, metallurgy and materials science, chemical and industrial processes/equipment, semiconductors, lasers and optics, food/agriculture, and social media. She is a licensed attorney in three U.S. states (New York, Colorado, New Mexico). She is also a Registered Patent Attorney (licensed in the U.S.) and a Registered Professional Engineer (New Mexico, Colorado).
