I'm the daughter of an immigrant on my mother's side. She was a mixed race Latina from Trinidad. Sadly, she is no longer with us. My father is a Navy veteran with twenty years in the military whose roots run deep in Charleston, SC where I'm from. I went to technical college and garnered two associates degrees in science before eventually turning my hand to the man's world of tools and trash. I've never looked back. My husband and I have four grown children that we're very proud of and one grandchild.
