EROS Healthcare Services, LLC. was founded by Dr. Karleen Kemp, an educational leader who has transformed and managed K-12 school systems. Dr. Karleen Kemp was educated in the Newark Public Schools system and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Graphics (minor in Computer Science) from The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College), a Master’s degree in Graphic Communications Management and Technology from New York University, a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. Given her educational background and professional experience of running a K-12 school system, she is well versed with building operations, policies and procedures, state legislation, and the evaluation process of running a successful school; therefore, she has the skill sets to manage and to supervise a trusted, quality healthcare agency. Her professional strengths revolve around program development/partnerships, observation and evaluation process, data analysis/assessments, budgeting, and professional developments. These experiences have provided a clear understanding of the theoretical foundations behind these aspects of healthcare administration. Additionally, Dr. Kemp’s healthcare experience is from working as a Home Care Office Manager for three years in the Philadelphia, PA area. Dr. Kemp’s passion for healthcare is driven by helping to care for her close friend's grandfather with dementia. And though that experience, it helped her to recognize the need to establish a loving, trusting, quality healthcare agency. His illness required on-going assistance with self-care up until the time of his passing. As she observed the care being provided by other CAREgivers, she noticed areas of potential improvement and pledged to one day be an advocate for loved ones who are not in a condition to care for themselves. EROS Healthcare Services, LLC was formulated to ensure superior service, quality care with a family environment, integrity, and love (EROS). The owner wants to change lives by helping clients to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes and communities.
