Yvonne Rivera has been providing Cybersecurity services for the last 15 years for the DoD as both an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE). Yvonne is an Army Combat Veteran with 8 years of service and three deployments in support of OIF/OEF. Yvonne was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) as a Sergeant (E-5) in the Military for discovering, implementing, and training of the new DoD Collaboration tool, today known as Defense Connect Online (DCO). Throughout her career as ISSO and ISSE Yvonne has created Cybersecurity Programs, established Cybersecurity policies and procedures, and initiated IT Governance Programs. Today, Yvonne is fulfilling the role of CEO for CyberMyte, the Company for which she co-founded. As a CyberMyte employee, Yvonne is currently working on the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) Program for which she leads the Cybersecurity effort. PCTE was granted a first-time ATO within eight months, four months ahead of schedule. Additionally, Yvonne ensures continuous monitoring through the PCTE Cyber program that she established, ensuring the systems security posture of the program is not compromised throughout the Agile process.
