Dr. Jessica Steier is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vital Statistics Consulting. In this role, she oversees all operations, project management, quality assurance, data analytics, and deliverables for the firm. Prior to joining VSC, she served as a Senior Health Policy Consultant at The Lewin Group, working primarily on large state and federal grants. She worked previously in the field of clinical academia, partnering with clinicians and healthcare delivery organizations to develop research projects, conduct analyses, and interpret findings to inform evidence-based change and quality improvement. As the inaugural Research Coordinator of Hofstra University’s Department of Physician Assistant Studies, she designed the Master’s curriculum from the ground up. She has also consulted for several hospitals and departments of health to conduct program evaluations and health needs assessments. Dr. Steier holds a Certificate in Patient Safety from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), as well as the Project Management Institute (PMI). Though originally from Brooklyn, NY, Jessica currently lives in Jupiter, Florida with her husband and two young children. She is an avid animal lover and supporter of local rescue organizations and has adopted a dog and three cats of her own.
