Important Notes:

  • Questions/Issues: If you have any issues with technology or questions, please use the chat interface at the bottom right of the http://uswcc.org or http://womenowned.us web pages. This is the most efficient and effective way to reach our member support team during the conference. We recommend you place, “VA Summit” at the beginning of the subject when you post into the interface.
  • Matchmaking Schedule: Once you receive your matchmaking schedule, if you find that you cannot make one or more of your sessions, please use the chat interface mentioned above to notify us ASAP. We will update the agency/prime meeting schedule so that the agency/prime representative knows of the change. We cannot reschedule anyone at this point as the matchmaking is full. The agency has been provided your contact information and may choose to outreach to you at a later point to reschedule at their discretion.

  • 20 Minute Sessions: The matchmaking sessions are setup in 25-minute blocks – but, your session should not extend beyond 20 minutes. This provides the agency/prime representatives time to make any notes needed and to locate and start their next meeting. We strongly advise you to not overstay your welcome – and help everyone stay on time.

  • Plan Ahead: Please practice/plan ahead for your meetings. This is your chance to put your best foot forward. All agencies/primes are given links to the form you submitted about your business and your capability statement. We recommend you do ask the preferred method for follow-up with the agency/prime and then do follow-up. Make a great impression! [We do not provide an attendee list or contact information. You must secure this from the agency/prime as you meet with them.]

  • Please Say "Thank You": We always ask that you thank the agency/prime reps for taking the time to meet with you and supporting these activities.

  • Phone In Available: If for any reason you cannot get into one of the web-conference meeting rooms, we recommend you use the phone number and code to access the meeting via the phone.

  • Returning to Your Meeting Room: If there are breaks between your meeting, you may close your browser tab. This will end the current session. You may return to your meeting room in preparation for another meeting with the same access information.
