Stellar Precision is a small, woman-owned manufacturing facility.  We have been in business for 38 years, I'm

the second generation owner and the third generation is currently a part of the innovative workforce.  Stellar has evolved from a

general machining company to one that is state of the art in both equipment and personnel - currently 65 employees.  We

produce hardware for the aerospace/defense and space industries including parts for the Atlas V Rocket and CCTCap Vehicle.  We are very responsive

both in quoting and in delivery and are happy to support emergency requirements.

We specialize in unusual configurations and exotic materials.  From basic carbon steels to Beta C Titanium or Inconel alloys,

we have done it all.  We also have experience with non-metal composites, phenolics, graphite and plastics.  Our machining

centers are 3, 4 and 5- axis with sizes ranging from .25" diameter up to 36" diameter and, depending on the configuration, up

to 120" in length.  Most of our equipment is under 5 years of age, we pride ourselves in keeping current with technology to

be able to offer the highest quality at the most affordable prices.  Our equipment is HAAS (UMC-750, VF-2, VF-3, VF-4, VF-6, VF-11, ST-40, DS-30, DS-30SSY)

Okuma (LB-45, LB-35, Captain M, Captain, Cadet), Mori Seiki (MV-40), Mitsubishi (MV 2400, MV 1200, FA-10). 

In addition to conventional machining, we offer Wire EDM, Heat Treating and NDE (Penetrant and Magnetic Particle) services in house.  We are also partnered

with plating and coating suppliers as well as additive manufacturing service providers in the Pittsburgh area, depending on the specific methodology required.

Our quality system is third party accredited to AS9100, Rev. C/ISO 9001.  Typical tolerances are within .002" (+/-.001") but we are certainly

able to hold tolerances within .0002" depending on the material/surface finish/configuration.  Our inspection equipment includes CMM,

Digital Video Measurement Systems and Laser Scanning (ROMER Arm) as well as typical manual tools.
