Jessica is a registered nurse with over 17 years of diverse healthcare experience, including serving as an active duty nurse in the US Air Force. She is a certified legal nurse consultant (CLNC ®) and Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). ? Jessica is very dedicated to the movement to reduce the prevalence of medical harm in the US. As a patient safety specialist, she has provided expertise to organizations such as the DoD, Emory Healthcare, and the Veteran’s Healthcare Administration. She has evaluated thousands of employee-health and patient safety related reports and guided numerous root cause analysis teams to identify and address vulnerabilities within their organizations. She facilitated process improvement projects, and conducted countless clinical team training events to enhance performance and patient safety. Her unique experience and expertise allow her to see beyond just the clinical picture and evaluate areas such as culture of safety, environment of care, training, human performance factors, equipment, administration, and a variety of other types of system related issues. This broad perspective allows for a truly comprehensive approach to evaluating each client's individual needs.
