Dr. Sharron D. Credle is originally from Chicago, IL and currently resides in southern Maryland with her husband, Minister (Retired Army Major) Ira O. Credle. Dr. Credle is Founder and CEO of The Dr. Sharron D. Credle Corporation; Founder & President of the UR Great Empowerment (URGE) Foundation, Inc.; Author of The Dr. S.D.C. Structured Journal; Creator of the Woman: Thou Art Great Women Sharpening Women Conference; and owner of one trademarked logo and one supplemental ornamental logo. Dr. Credle is often sought out to speak to youth, to speak at women's events, to serve as a mentor, and to provide leadership training to groups and organizations. Dr. Credle is a life-long learner and highly educated. She has extensive experience in Organizational Leadership Training and Development, Women's Empowerment Training, Counseling & Mentoring, Organization and Human Behavior, Strategic Planning, Human Capital Development and Management, Contract Negotiations Strategies &Training, Mediation Training, and Motivational Speaking. Dr. Credle has over 28 years of experience in the public school arena in Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland. She has served as a Special Education Teacher, Counselor, Vice Principal, Supervisor of Special Education, Supervisor of Human Resources, Director of Diversity and Equity, Director of Human Resources Operations and Staffing and Senior member of the Board of Education Negotiations Team. Dr. Credle has also held numerous leadership positions in professional organizations: Senior Consultant for the Church Youth Leadership Program, Director of the Women's Ministry, Senior member of the Maryland Negotiations Service, President of the Maryland School Personnel Administrators Association, Charter Member & Vice President of the Virginia State University Alumni Association of Prince George's County, MD, and has held several chairmanships (elected and non-elected) as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Credle is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Association of School System Personnel Administrators and The National Association of Professional Women. Dr. Credle is also a faithful member of New Chapel Baptist Church located in Camp Springs, MD. Dr. Credle earned her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Virginia State University; Master's Degree in Counseling from Longwood College; Master's Degree from Fayetteville State University in Education Administration; and a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources Development from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
