EDC’s mission is to provide technical expertise, leadership, program management, and advocacy in support of grantees and sub-grantees to enable them to optimize federal, state, and private disaster relief funding and achieve positive community outcomes while avoiding duplication of benefits, properly tracking cost and activities, retaining grant funding through programmatic closeout and audit, and mitigating wherever possible against future similar disasters-all in compliance with program requirements.
